Drama
Research conducted worldwide has proven that exposure to music is critical to brain development and helps children with a variety of skills. Math concepts are introduced at a young age through music. Patterns, shapes, sizes, loud/soft, up/down, high/low are just a few examples of math in music.
A variety of musical instruments are always on hand to play along with the music, such as rhythm sticks, tambourines, maracas, triangles, and bells. Movement activities that are introduced include partner dancing, dancing with scarves, rhythmic ribbons, and free motion dance movements. We also have many beautiful finger puppets that the children use for dramatic purposes and for poetry reciting.
