Preschool for Twos As every parent knows, the two-year-old is ready to assert his or her independence at every turn! Here at Calvary Child Development Center, we offer a wonderful program that brings out the hidden potential bundled up in these little ones — so full of energy and life!
At this age, as in all levels of Early Childhood Education, learning is most meaningful when it is achieved through play. A typical day for a 2-year-old at Calvary Child Development Center will include:

Special Classes: Two-year-olds also attend a Spanish class with one of our qualified Spanish teachers! We use a comprehensive Spanish curriculum to teach the two-year olds vocabulary words such as colors and animals. Twos also have their own science area where they have an opportunity to have a hands-on good time exploring. Science Lab is one of the favorite specialized classes for the two-year-olds. Our science teacher, Ms. Lilian, prepares a comprehensive lesson each week. After a brief lesson, the children are allowed hands-on exploration in the lab, futher exposing them to many concepts related to the science lesson and to overall science development. Sample 2s Preschool Schedule Please remember that this is not an exact schedule. The daily schedule will be adapted according to the number of days attending and will have various times for your child′s class to have their specialized classes, playground and lunch times. Your child′s teacher will post a schedule in the classroom.
