Our Approach

At Calvary Child Development Center, we are committed to providing a Christian atmosphere where children receive individual attention and love. We make certain that the children spend their days enveloped in a warm, stimulating environment. Our goal is to provide the highest quality program where loving kindness, gentleness, consistency, safety, and security are of utmost importance.

Educational Focus
Our focus is on the whole child and the development of spiritual, cognitive, physical, emotional, language and social abilities. We want children to learn using our hands-on, developmentally appropriate curriculum, which has been designed specifically for each age level. We strive to maintain a balance of teacher-directed activities with the need for children to use all of the five senses to experiment on their own with problem solving, decision-making and free choice to understand the world.

Every child is a unique and special individual. We recognize the need for children's individuality to be respected and their extraordinary God-given talents and gifts to be identified and nourished. That is what we do best here at Calvary. The exposure children receive to art, computers, physical education, people and cultures, music and movement, science, and Bible stories, provides a wealth of experiences for the children on which to build a solid educational foundation.

Highest Standards
Our commitment to high standards is also reflected in the people who work at Calvary CDC. Our teachers are experienced, certified Early Childhood Educators who receive ongoing training. The teacher′s role in our developmental program is to design an environment where learning is optimized for each child and where teachers share knowledge based upon a foundation of Christian principles. We nurture the lasting bonds that develop between our staff and families, as we take pride in the children's accomplishments as they grow and progress during these important early years.

In Matthew 18:5, Jesus says, “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” This statement reveals our heart for the children in our care. When we receive these children we receive Him.
